Emotional Residue.../HannaCharacters Belong to Tessa StoneMy eyes dart towards the door of the apartment that I am currently residing as the knob decides whether or not it wants to turn. When it finally comes to a decision in the positive my eyes return to my cooking. Very recently expired Canadian bacon and mashed potatoes.I feel rather secretly pleased with myself for finding wild onion and garlic in the graveyard to add a little flavor to the potatoes. But I digress. The point is that Hanna is home from working his rather odd shift at the department store. I don't remember much of his grumbling, but I believe something about inventory was mentioned. Again my eyes move to the doorway. The young man is standing there with his eyes closed, breathing."Are you okay?"A pair of pale blue orbs open, roll dramatically, and lock onto my own worried gaze
not without a large goofy grin growing instantly. "Jeez Galileo, I'm fine man. Just admiring your cooking
again."The redhead's grin falters mo
Star Trekkin'They were comfortably settled on the faded, fraying couch, Hanna's laptop whirring in overtime as it processed the most recent Star Trek film, when the paranormal investigator spoke up, after a possibly record-breaking six minutes of quiet."Toni would have to be Uhura," Hanna stated decidedly, twirling a piece of popcorn in his fingers before opening his mouth as wide as possible and tossing it in. Apparently, kissing in a service lift was acceptable for a pair of Starfleet officers, though Hanna hadn't clarified."Which I guess means Conrad would be Spock..." Hanna wrinkled his nose at the kiss, apparently curing his distaste with more popcorn as he rummaged in the bowl. "Except he couldn't go a day without showing emotion, HA!" His friend glanced sideways with a quizzical expression, and Hanna's face spread into a huge grin,
Put A Ring On It"All the single ladies." Conrad mumbled to himself as he worked on his laptop outside his favorite coffee shop.Beyoncé's fierce beat rocked through his headphones, volume set on high. Veser sat next to Conrad, working down a pile of homework. Several drinks sat on the table, as well as an unopened ring pop, one of Veser's favorite treats. It was his philosophy that the best bling was also the most delicious."I'm up on him, he up on me. Don't pay him any attention." Conrad clicked idly.Veser unwrapped his ring pop; cherry flavored."If you liked it then you should have put a ring on it."Conrad blinked as the ring pop slid up his finger and Veser just grinned, wide and toothy."Veser." Conrad's eyebrow perked high. "What the--""You said if I liked it.""I um. I was just singing." If he wasn't dead, Conrad would have flushed red. "I appreciate it, but I can't eat your candy.""Why not? It's delicious." Veser lifted Conrad's hand and swirled his tongue around the candy gem."I'm
